A short hiatus

A break of a few days in our garden project.

An elliptical paving section has to be made to order and won't be ready until the end of this week,  so by the time it arrives there will be a ~10 day break.
That does leave us time to get the existing paving cleaned up, which, as it is a mix of our old paving, some reclaimed from our neighbour's garden revamp and some new, is no bad thing.  In this panorama you can see the hardcore awaiting the new section and some of the edging cobbles which mark where the replacement lawn will cover.  The old slabs in the middle are just there so we don't have to walk on the clay - they are not staying and will likely become steps in the rail cutting.

Gill has covered her Japanese Maples with thin fleece - they look a little wraith like but are actually quite ok.

Several of our neighbours came for a look see - they were all very positive about it,  either that or they are all just polite!

I watched an RPS zoom session on Lightroom late this afternoon,  learned a few things but didn't quite follow how the presenter had his catalogue and collections arranged - however - each to their own!
