Buster Bloodvessel (MM377)

A stressful day - hence the title.

We were expecting a few days break from the garden project but Gill had a call early this morning to say the elliptical paving was ready to be delivered and would this afternoon be ok?   Fortunately - our neighbours were about so moving cars was not a problem.   Gill then announced her right eye was not working properly, as if her glasses were smeared with grease and everything was overly bright.  We did think it might be a migraine,  but they usually affect both of her eyes so cutting a long story short, we ended up at Walsgrave hospital in Coventry where, how can I put this diplomatically,  the admin didn't match up to the medical care. Fortunately - having negotiated the labyrinthine route to get to see someone - she did find herself in the eye clinic and had one of the nurses quickly decide she needed to see a doctor.  They both were caring and professional and it turns out she has had a blood vessel leak blood into her eye.  She did have raised blood pressure - although that might be partly due to the daft process for getting to see someone - and her triglycerides are too high. So some follow up with our GP yet to come.

My blood pressure is probably raised due to the bonkers route around the parking area, and the presence of far too many dithery people driving small cars and grumpy impatient ones driving SUVs.   I  did manage to reverse park our car into a space without losing either my temper or any paintwork.

On our way out, and feeling much less worried, we came across these two bins. They struck me as being pretty wacky - particularly as one of the items which can be returned is a zimmer frame -  must be an interesting thing to get into a wheelie bin :-)

Our neighbours dealt with the delivery so we now have ~600kg of paving sat on our drive.

Thanks to Random Angel for hosting Mono Monday on the theme of Wacky.
