Aubretia

We're really happy with the way the aubretia has spread around the wall on the edge of the oak terrace.  We (the royal we, you understand) created gaps in the wall for the first few plug plants, but since then it has spread out and found other niches.  At this time of year it is great.  It does tend to dry out later in the summer, and die back.

The first day that non-essential shops have been allowed to open this year, and I gather from the local press that there were queues overnight for PRIMARK in Norwich!!!!!  I just hope that people do not go too mad and precipitate yet another wave of infection.
