Moderating influence

The office, although still only thinly populated, is providing some welcome normality and cheer. It’s nice to pass colleagues and share a nod or a few pleasantries, and this helps to moderate the lurch between highs and lows.

At lunchtime I popped up to Berry and Helen’s garden where Helen had prepped some outdoor lunch. I hadn’t seen Berry face to face since before the November lockdown, and it was nice to get reacquainted with the old cad. In the background a blue tit repeatedly attacked its reflection in the window. Apparently it makes its way around each window on a daily basis. Not a great use of energy.
