Back To It

Well, we've got our Saturday job back. From today on we'll be at the lodge cleaning until the autumn!

As you can imagine, we've had very few bookings since March last year but, to our great delight, those who came gave us excellent reviews in their post-holiday questionnaire and consistent 9.5 scores, which put us in the top 20% of the country's self-catering accommodation

That was very pleasing at a time when things are stripped back to basics, no cushions, books, dvds, etc and no beautifully laid table to welcome them. We are well pleased!

This clump of tulips will very soon make a nice splash of colour in the garden at the lodge.
