Juvenile Common Lizard

Second thoughts are often better than the ones they succeed, and today Janet had second thoughts about finally pouring away the dreadful muck Incredibish had bottled some years previously. It's been waiting execution for some time, nobody daring to open the bottles.

"I'll just try a bit so I can tell him how utterly vile it was", she thought... As it happens, we had a glass each over lunch and very decent it was too. Elderberry, from about six years ago.

Just goes to show, although what exactly I'm not sure. Anyhow, we took a wander down to the local nature reserve today and along with the innumerable wildflowers we found slow worms, orange tip and speckled wood butterflies, and this tiny (about four inches) common lizard.
