Dolly's Day

LOCKED DOOR

Had a good day today.  Had 5 things on my " to do " list and ticked them all off. The weather was sunny which always lifts the mood.  Pottered around at home until it was time to walk to the Church Hall for slimming group.  Nobody else getting weighed while I was there so I was in and out quickly.  Lost another 1½ pound this week.  ( 9½ pounds to go till I get back to my target weight)

The Church Hall is near the Co-op so I nipped in there to get some cat food as it was on Special Offer.  Got a bunch of crysanthamums reduced in price too.

Back home to cook and eat my tea before the slimming Zoom session at 8pm.  Only 3 members were online today.  It was a good week for the group as a whole.  After last weeks measly group loss of 2 pounds the total weight loss for the group this week was 40 pounds.

Had a nice long chat with my neigbours who live opposite. Their house has been on the market and has just sold.  They are moving into a new build near Blyth and will be living in their caravan at the coast between moving out of The Close in June and moving into their new place.  They are nice friendly couple ( Newcastle United fans ) who have been good neighbours.  We will keep in touch via Facebook for sure,

The Abstract Thursday theme is " a different viewpoint " and I was looking around all day for something suitable.  As I was coming home through the allotments I noticed some colourful patination on one of the allotment doors.  The allotment doors are all made out of anything and everything and this one appeared to be a solid piece of metal. My blip shot shows part of the metal door as well as the padlock. Thanks to Ingaborg for hosting
