MONOMONDAY

I know it's a bit early.....but I have to upload tonight because tomorrow I will not have the time...it's gonna be a busy day.

The Northwoods Shelby Club was at Road America this weekend. Originally formed to celebrate all things Carroll Shelby, the club has evolved to include just about any type of car.

There are no races, per se, it's merely an occasion for auto/race enthusiasts to get together for a little track time with their cars. They are divided into groups with varying horse power but mostly grouped according to track experience: Novice; Intermediate; Expert.

The object here is to run your car in a safe manner but allows for speed that is not allowable on the state's highways. All sorts of rules to follow and hopefully no one goes home with a bent up auto. Unfortunately, that's not always the case but ability grouping goes a long way toward mitigating that possibility.

Corvettes seemed to predominate the field. This is not a Corvette. Anyone want to take a shot at which species of auto this is?
