Different Blossom

Another day without pink cherry blossom gracing my page- my restraint is nothing short of miraculous. Instead I give you this somewhat incongruous mass of what could supposedly be lilac climbing up a building at the corner of the Grassmarket. I’m not sure of its purpose but it did seem a bit incongruous against the backdrop of the castle.

I hit the shops this morning, as I mentioned yesterday, but only to find shoes and reading material. It felt strange to be doing something again that used to be so normal.
