A day in the life

Eva and I had a really productive runthrough of ideas this morning, rehearsing our song-poetry program for Mothers day. I think most of the big lines are outlined, now we need to settle on the details and then rehearse the whole form several times until we're ready to perform. It's going to be fun, and it was such a long time since either of us produced anything at all of this kind.

I noticed yesterday that there is an increasing shimmering of green going on. The birch has already developed some new, small leaves and more trees and bushes are well on their way. All it takes is a bit of warmth in the air really. We've had some good, sunny days but still too low temperatures for the process to quicken up.

Normally, the first weeks of May can be really warm and lovely. I'm pretty sure we will have a proper spring even in this chilly period as well.
