Byfords Tableau

I went into town today to get a new squirrel proof feeder for sunflower hearts. The blue tit is now sitting on her eggs but doesn’t seem to have a male bringing her food, so I thought high energy sunflower hearts might help. I saw this scene at Byfords that looked like a tableau, so that was my blip photo taken. A frustrating day contacting a company, which I won’t bore you with, but all resolved now.

Day 410 /  Day 19 of Step 2 of Roadmap Easing (for my record only)
UK deaths up 15 to 127,517 (revised basis), with 2,381 new cases, 1,497 patients in hospital, 196 on ventilation and 132 new admissions. 34.2m have now received their first dose of the vaccine and 14.5m have had their second dose. The R rate has risen slightly to 0.8 to 1.1 and the daily growth rate is -4% to -1%. Per the ONS, the cases in the community are now 1 in 1,010 in England; 1 in 1,570 in Wales; 1 in 940 in NI; and 1 in 640 in Scotland. I’ll stop recording daily UK stats now that levels are so low. Globally cases to date pass 150m, with daily cases in India today of 394,745 and daily deaths of 3,389. Deaths in Brazil pass 400k. 1 in 14 admitted to hospital in the UK has had a 1st jab. Those over 40 in the UK are now being invited to book a jab. 1 dose of the Pfizer vaccine may not protect against new variants unless you’ve previously had Covid. The US has now fully vaccinated 100m people, which is nearly 40% of adults. Russia is to start using their vaccine designed for animals. The traffic light grading for countries for travel purposes was not issued as planned.
