The Lozarithm Lens

The Woodland Garden (Friday 30th April 2021)

Refna's gardening visit was deferred until Friday because of the weather, and it was a much finer morning than Wednesday's had been. She spent much of it re-shaping this topiaried "cloud". To look at clouds from both sides now, a view from the other side is in Extras. The second Extra of crabapple blossom in front of the maple was taken with the yellow K50, completing the April album of the Woodland Garden.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Judy Collins - Both Sides Now (1967)
(arranged and conducted by Joshua Rifkin)
This was the first version I knew, having bought the album Wildflowers in 1967. Judy Collins was the first person to record the song, from Joni Mitrchell's demo, as she herself didn't record it until 1969, for her album Clouds. Joni Mitchell also put it on the B-side of Chelsea Morning in 1969. A B-side!
