Town Quay Sunday

I got a call from my friend Chris this morning asking if I'd like to do a bike ride. Our wives were off for their occasional walk to coffee at another friends so it was a good plan.

As we set off there was a big dark cloud in the direction we were heading but we soon turned aside and left it behind. We did get a little sprinkle of rain further along the road but it was a lovely day without much breeze and great to be out. We headed up to Bovey Tracey by cycle routes and stopped there for a cup of coffee. We came home by a different route through Chudleigh and clocked up about 26 miles.

My blip is the only photo I took today. It's Town Quay in Newton Abbot with its coffee stall a focus for people on their Sunday walks.

Here in the UK the whole country is on tenterhooks for the conclusion of Line of Duty. With so much of our viewing being available on demand it's rare for people to be waiting fo the more traditional live or 'linear' tv scheduling. I'll probably have to rewatch it tomorrow to fully understand it all. The writer, Jed Mercurio, lets few people  know the whole store so there are no leaks, only speculation. The real cliff hanger is whether this really is the conclusion or if it's left hanging for another season. 9 o'clock then.
