Sand Man

Nate's attempt at the other day's sand photo!
Today is Mother's Day in Spain, Asha realised and made me a lovely origami rainbow whale. It was definitely original!! We managed to tune into all 3 of the church livesteams today, and Danny got to El Viñedo Roma church too.
We went to the beach early afternoon. We drove as far north as possible. It was pretty windy and chilly when we arrived but warmed up. A gorgeous chilled time, even more so when we had coffee and the MacDonald's apple pies (they've just started doing them!!) we'd taken with us! A perfect moment sat together.
As we drove home and came into the Port I spotted one of the homeless guys I've been looking for. He's been applying for a passport for aaaaages and there's just one hoop left to jump through. Anyway, I was so so pleased to see him and finish off the process. He's been really worried about having no ID at all (it's illegal to be out and about with no ID) and being picked up by the police. Once we clicked the final thing he visibly relaxed. So good to sit on the floor with him and another friend. They're a good bunch.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The kids who've made me a mother.
2) Getting John's application finished.
3) Beach days.
