Snacking

The ocotillos are past peak bloom but the birds, especially the house finches, enjoy snacking on their leaves.  The hummingbirds love those flowers, too.  But they bloom at the very tip tops of the tall whips and out of range for me to get a decent shot of the little sippers.  Even with the finch I had to do a pretty significant crop.  This wasn't the photo I was going to use for today's blip. When I looked to post it, the one I wanted was nowhere to be found.  I don't know where I saved it.  Oops!
