Former Glory

Busy day today. Posting a Ethernet over mains device to someone in the morning (online postage is so much quicker than the post office). In the afternoon working on a presentation. Late afternoon preparing dinner for friends, this blip, then off to Winchester to see the "Chasing Ice" film at INTECH.

The blip is of an orchid flower. We're not orchid people but we received this "super orchid" last year and it did have some pretty flowers on it. I've tried to photograph it before but it didn't work. I had to move the orchid from the table for dinner and I removed the dead flowers that had fallen off. I thought they would make a good blip with a macro lens and of the various pictures I took I think this is the best.
