Mother's Day Morning

The world is quiet
and calm in the early part
of the day - the best!

I was up very early this morning and out on my deck taking photos of sunrise before 6 AM. 

I had a quilted heart to release today, #30, and the last until I get more scraps of batting for the process. I decided to drive down to the Rivers Trail along Schubert Drive to leave the heart on a bench. 

Morning has the best light and all is calm before things start to buzz again. I enjoyed my abbreviated walk and made my way home quickly. 

I'm going to spend my day at home. I'm expecting a visit from my daughter in the afternoon.
