Dark Beauty

Today was the first with real warm weather.
This was undoubtably a good thing but I'd prepared three sourdough loaves last night and so had to warm up the oven and kitchen to do the baking.  Fortunately the result was worth the sweat! (The three loaves can be seen on flickr.)
By the time the last of the baking was done the first loaf had cooled and we sat down to freshly baked bread for lunch.
As we sat outside eating, this little dark beauty flew in and landed on the corner of the table cloth. It remained there through the meal, and for all I know is still sitting there. Its colouring is probably brilliant for hiding on tree trunks but is less good for hiding on green table-cloths.  It's about 1,5 cm long, and is easier to see in the photo than it was in real life!
I've searched images on internet and I'll tentatively identify it as on of the darker examples of the Dark Brocade - Mniotype adusta. Anyone with a more definite ID is welcome to tell me what it is! UPDATE - Dreich gave me an ID and suggests it's a darker version of the "Hebrew Character", Orthosia gothica.
In the afternoon I worked outside in the garden without a jumper and it just felt lovely. As usual it was gardening, planting peas and digging a new patch.
In the late afternoon we drove into town to pick up the homemade ice-cream we'd ordered. Then into Rose's to share a little of our new frozen treasure.
