Tea for three -

indoors!
We walked Eda down to her pre school this morning, she didn’t even wear a coat (though we had one with us). Returning through Larkhall village we had just passed all the shops and possible places of shelter when the heavens opened.
Grace and I were soaked to the skin! I had to completely change when we got home and then re-dry my hair! Luckily Jude was fast asleep and completely dry. It had stopped when we got back so we left her sleeping in the garden out of the electricians way.

We didn’t go far then till afternoon as Grace had an electrician in. The plan was to take a stroll down the hill to Bailbrook House at 3.00 pm for afternoon tea but there was another downpour as we were getting ready to leave so we decided to drive which was actually further!

We had a delightful afternoon tea and Jude was on good form throughly enjoying herself. When we walked past last month lots of people were sitting outside enjoying food and drinks, which looked very nice, but I think it was better for Jude inside and we had lovely view of the Wisteria growing on the terrace outside.
A real treat, shame Eda missed it but she wouldn’t have been able to eat any of it. We walked down to collect Eda later and took her to the ‘tiny teeny’ park as her treat before climbing the hill home.
