Waste

Hospital today. 

Until now I have been to my GP, dentist, optician, acupuncturist and physiotherapist under pandemic rules. Hospital was a step up. 

They insisted I remove my facemask and take one of their disposable ones. Well, their rules. 

I was in and out within 30 minutes, and this all happened within 2 weeks of consulting my GP about the shoulder problem. 

All the other health professionals mentioned above send me a text message about an appointment, and in some cases a reminder on the morning it is due, but the hospital wrote a letter. 

The rest of my day was typical weekend stuff. Laundry and ironing mostly. If I have to Blip a mouldy old hospital letter and disposable PPE, you can imagine...
