Up .............

 .............. with the lark  -  aka up for the plasterer who seems to prefer an early start!

Lots of brightness early this morning - these are spiky leaves in the front garden.   The sky is now leaden, the rain is raining, a stiff breeze is breezing and Mr Plasterer has left the building (13.45).  He's scraped and sealed both the utility room and hall ceilings and will plaster them tomorrow and he will be done.     No visual kitchen progress today so you get a break from BB's renovations!

Smile for the Day:

I went for a hike at the weekend despite the extremely blustery conditions and, despite taking three steps forward then two steps back, I battled against the weather quite well.
Then it happened, from out of nowhere came down the sandwiches, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, quiche and vol-au-vents  ...............and then I realised .......... I was being buffeted by the wind.
