Day 424 It's Abstract Thursday

Today's theme set by our regular host Ingeborg, is 'Lines'.  She had posted her own abstract early and when I saw that she had put up an image with curved lines, I somehow had it fixed in my head that this was the theme.  Hence my choice of Violet's melon pieces from her play food collection.  Of course I had to multiply the number of pieces and give them a bit of a reshape.  Not that I think that it has produced the best result but what is Abstract Thursday for, but playing and faffing about with images.
In other news: we paid a visit to the garden centre in unseasonably cold and miserable weather, not for plants (although 2 pelargoniums sneaked their way into a out trolley) but to find some slabs to create a least a temporary solution for me so that I can get up the patio steps and into the garden.  When Mr MC measured, he found that the rise on two of the three steps is 9 inches, which might have been ok if I were 6ft 3in  instead of 5 ft 3 in!.  We haven't actually done anything yet with the slabs as it was too awful to want to spend any more time outside.
