A planter blocks a road in North Dulwich. I am guessing that closing parts of streets is a social distancing measure but maybe not. This one has a cute little bench and table attached. If it wasn’t so damp I would have sat down and had my photograph taken.

The picture was taken on our way back from a lovely dinner at The Palmerston, the kind of place that may be described as a gastropub. It’s the first time we have eaten inside a restaurant since last November - everything in the past few weeks has been outside because of the restrictions. What struck me most - apart from the lovey evening with nice company - was how normal it felt. Some habits are harder to break than others.
