Aurora ?

Frosty start, and a chilly but sunny day - its winter after all.

We're off overseas on Thursday, yes at last !!  

Not quite Townsville Australia, but overseas it is......Stewart Island.  I've linked a map for those non kiwis, its right at the bottom of the South Island. We live just south of Timaru.

Started organising my packing this afternoon....putting the Sapphire Gin bottle in, but before that took a photo or two with the macro looking through the side of the bottle.  Interesting result, no this is definitely not an aurora.  
Although we here in the South Island do get the opportunities of photographing the auroras from time to time.
