Polite posters!

It's been a busy day in our household.

Mum had a shower. A message told me that J, Mum's hairdresser, could not come today because she has a bad back. Sounded very debilitating and just when she is getting going again after lockdown.

Norman, the engineer for the stairlift, came to do a service. It's not long since he was here for a fault. Turned out there was a major fault so he had to drive to Cramlington for the parts. He returned this afternoon.

Sara, (daughter in law of Margret next door) came to see us before she and Mark head off to the Outer Isles tomorrow. Lucky them. Mark came this evening.

I tried to fit in a Hay Festival talk or three, but managed only two. Thank goodness for catch up facilities.

I went for a short walk from home to Haughton Mains Farm and back through this tiny wood. The more official notices from the school have obviously not worked, so the children are now involved. I hope it works for them.
