Oh dear

As we’d managed to get Phin booked into doggy daycare we took the opportunity to head into the city centre so I could go into the Apple shop to ask how I can move my photos from iPhoto to another location. I have an almost 10 year old MacBook Air which no longer accepts updates and although it’s backed up to an external hard drive and I now load my photos to the cloud, I’d like them all in one place. Hence the trip to town.

So just before we left I thought I’d better get some details (turned out all I needed was the serial number) and when I turned the laptop on, I got this weird error. Apparently should be fixable by a reboot, but I’m leaving that for tomorrow.

Tried to take the train but the platform was crowded and the display boards suggested the train was full so we drove instead and parked at the car park attached to Waverley station - £12 for up to 5 hours is a real bargain in Edinburgh.

The advice I received was to call the support line as there are likely to be more specialised experts available than in the store.

Our trip wasn’t wasted as we’d booked Yo! Sushi for lunch as it’s going to be a no-go for Miss PHL in the future. She’s still not quite ready to embrace the coeliac lifestyle so we’re crossing off the foods she wants to eat before she no longer can. Lunch was delicious.

Collected Phin late afternoon and he was pleased to come home for a nap. I think being with other dogs all day is a little tiring for him but he’s keen to go in so I think he enjoys it.

Thanks to everyone who took part in TinyTuesday - I’ve had a first look at the entries and they’re fabulous!
