Cloudy Sky Saturday

A day for "chores".

Gardening, which consists of mainly cutting grass. Some of the grass is quite long and I tried using the hedge trimmer rather than the strummer. The hedge trimmer works very well and I suspect that it is kinder to the grass. A pleasure as well as a chore.

We had lunch in the garden. Very much a pleasure.

Then Pat decided to wash the car. It is covered in Oil Seed Rape pollen. The car is quite high so I do the roof and the high parts.

Slightly delayed as the hose attachment to the outside tap burst.

We then watched the highlights of the F1 qualifying at Azerbaijan.

I then took a tour around "The Policies" taking several photos before selecting today’s Blipfoto which is the view from the south entrance gate.

The growth on the verges is just about hiding the hedge. Amazing what a little heat can do.
