Unknown plant

Its our anniversary today and we decided to visit Rosemoor Gardens and have a meal there.  It had been forecast as a grey day with possible rain but we had better weather than that.  At one point it was fairly sunny and pretty hot and humid.  The gardens were delightful, full of colour and beautifully landscaped.  We walked around most of the gardens before a late lunch.  I loved this unusual plant (to me) with its striking shape and colourings.  I also spotted a few Southern Marsh Orchids in the wildflower areas.  There were a few butterflies out, not many but we spotted a Painted Lady feeding on a purple flower.

As we left to go home it started to rain.  A lovely day out.
