Stourhead

Once again, I made sandwiches, and once again I left them in the fridge.  FFS.  Just Tim's this time though :/  This meant that when we stopped for lunch as we were having a leisurely wander round the lake at Stourhead, poor Tim had to make do with a bag of crisps, and then go on ahead to get back to the start and buy something more substantial.  It was too hot for him to come back round a second time (they've got a one-way route in place, due to Covid, so no chance to take a short cut), so he waited in the shade while Mum and I carried on (still quite leisurely) around the lake.  Bit of a shame, but it was still a really lovely visit, and a pretty perfect day for it - hot and sunny, but not too hot.

Back home to Mum's for a relaxed rest of the afternoon, and then I cooked us a curry for dinner, which seemed to go down well.
