Greeting da Plane

A windy day, and that wind was cold.  Some fine sunny spells, but also the odd shower, and heavy this morning. 

I've been working in the airport all day, and a busy morning on the check-in desk.  Some more training in the afternoon.  Popped by Madeline's after work, some walkies with Sammy, and then a lazy evening by the fire. 

Another job I was learning a bit more about today, was to meet and greet the planes.  We have to board the passengers, walking them to the plane, and also when they disembark too.  Once all on board, I have to hand over the relevant documents to the pilot, and cabin crew.  These old Loganair Saab 340s will soon be replaced with the ATR 42, which we have one making two trips daily.  Taken on the runway, Sumburgh Airport.
