Quiet

It was lovely and peaceful on my morning walk with the puppy where I spotted these lovely yellow flag irises growing wild by the steam. He woke around 7 but luckily was happy to come upstairs and sleep again until just before 9. Rolls and sausage for breakfast were eaten whilst the electrician did the wiring for the lights on the deck and beside the doors - all done within a couple of hours.

Our son and his girlfriend dropped me at my friend Susan’s house just after lunch on their way home to Blairgowrie. She found out on Friday evening that her mum had passed away unexpectedly and whilst they weren’t particularly clues I didn’t want her to be on her own today. (Luckily another friend had been able to visit on Friday evening) and she was happy to spend yesterday with her puppy.

We spent a nice afternoon talking about this and that and enjoyed a delicious Lebanese takeaway for dinner.

Home before the rain struck - the plants need it!
