Laura at Indian Mound Reserve

We were a bit late getting going this morning, after our late return from Chicago last night. It was a cool start to the day, but sunny with blue skies. Having returned from the desert of Kuwait, Laura found the bright blue of the skies and all the green around us to be quite striking! She had a bit of work to do in the morning for her Masters course, which is drawing to a close, but then we went hiking at Indian Mound Reserve, which we have only discovered in the last 6 or 7 months, so Laura had never been. We had a good hike, though none of us were feeling terribly energetic- Laura is obviously suffering jet lag, Roger is still taking things easy because of his knee - I was the only one with no excuse! I took a few other photographs, but felt Laura had to be my blip star for the day!
