Hammock Time

It was probably the warmest day of the year today. We ate breakfast outside, seeking shade rather than sun, and then took Jan's brother Dave, and Jude, for a virtual tour of our camper van. They are thinking of buying a similar one and we showed off some of the things we'd done to personalise ours.
A hot day seemed to be an invitation to set up, and then relax in the hammock. The setting up went well but having done that it was really too hot to lie there in full sun. We retreated inside instead!
As it started to cool down I cut the upper lawn, then we went for a swim in the nearby lake. That was so nice - the water was cool enough to feel good, but warm enough that we could just float there as long as we wanted. When I climbed out a light breeze blew past and actually gave me a slight shiver of cold - that felt good!
Once home we had another virtual meeting about camper vans with another couple who are thinking of buying one. It's strange in a way to be the "experts" on something we've just got started with, but also the thought processes we went through pre-buying will soon be forgotten so hopefully we have something to offer.
The later evening went to football as I watched England play a really good game. Once the second half goal was scored I could really relax. A real change to watch football and not feel tense about the result. I didn't watch the first game of the evening but was happy that fellow Scandinavians Denmark won.  In the next match they will meet England. This means I'll definitely have a team to support in the final, although I really hope it is England that make it through!
Tomorrow will be another hot day, probably hotter than today, so maybe the hammock will get some use.
