Lovely Day!

The temperature was cool this morning - 58F/14.4C and rose to 82F/27.7C - a very typical Portland summer day. I reveled in being in the garden in it's quiet coolness this morning...the birds singing, garden well watered and the stress of the previous heat gone.

These Echinacea purpureas - an unknown cultivar - are in their prime right now. 

I had a fabulous massage midday followed by some work on my class and finally nine holes of golf with my good friend. And I played well! What more could you want in a day :-)
