In With The New....

It is turnover time in the garden...new blooms are starting and some old faithfuls that got me through spring are dying off...I am happy to welcome the coneflowers, day lilies, and the hosta flowers, but now I need to get out there to trim back overgrown vines and shrubs, pull weeds and create space for them to thrive. But of course, it has been another scorcher of a day, so that didn't happen.

Instead, it was another day of rest and relaxation.. Except of course for an attempt at winding some yarn. A simple task. Place the skein of yarn onto the arms of the Swift, tighten it, thread one end of yarn onto the winder and go to it..unless of course, that skein is too twisted and tangled.. then you have a problem on your hands....and you have to wind it by hand...and then you can end up with a total mess! "One Out of Two Ain’t Bad".  Skein one went like clockwork...second skein did not..Oh What a Tangled Web We Weave, but All's Well That Ends Well..it is all wound and ready to meet some needles. Let the knitting begin.
