Watching Robots Dance

Today - to make up for my lack of birthday holiday - we decided to have a day out at Thinktank in Birmingham.
The Little Misses and I had a fabulous day there in the Summer with the lovely Brady Bird and the Little Bradys and I've been meaning to get back there with Mr K ever since.
It really is an amazing day out for kids - so much to see and do.
We saw a film in the Planetarium about the possibility of life on other planets. Miss E showed remarkable insight when she whispered halfway thorough "If we met people on another planet we'd be the aliens!"
They were mesmerised by the Jaguar car making robots - it really is incredible how they appear to be alive and dancing!
They pulled knobs, turned handles, tugged on levers and pulleys, played with copious amounts of water, ran on the giant hamster wheel, worked digger arms, used bellows to fan fake flames.....
Amongst other things!!!
There were also many tears and tantrums and much whining from the Little Misses, and a fair bit of shouting and threatening from me and Mr K.
A pretty normal day out!!!
