As the red tops would put it, phew what a scorcher, and yes if you are reading this Will I am referring to the weather today.  ;-)

Far to hot to do much today.  It is instead a day for sitting still and conserving energy.  The last thing anyone needs to be doing on a day like today is spinning round like a top.  Yet strangely, or perhaps not so strangely given their form to date, that was exactly what our PM and Chancellor of the Exchequer were doing this morning.  Yesterday Savid Javid our newish Health Secretary confirmed that he had covid.  Having announced that they wouldn't self isolate the PM and Chancellor then both changed their minds within just a few hours this morning to confirm that alright, reluctantly, yes they would.  

How Cathy and I laughed. If only it wasn't such a serious subject.

Tomorrow is of course Freedom Day for the Covid Virus, as most of the restrictions on its freedom of movement are removed, just at the point where cases are very rapidly increasing  .... no I don't understand why we are doing this either.
