Gets the evening sun

Went to check on progress at the new home in Titirangi (actually Waima). Also collected Mr H who had accepted a job spray painting inside cupboards for S. The kitchen will be reconfigured once the consent process has been gone through and a builder is available to do it.

As we were preparing to start the drive back north I noticed that the sunlight was filling the room that will be my study when we move in. It has to be today's blip.

There was a makeshift step up onto the wee deck at the front of the house. We have had the builders replace some of the deck with the steps that can be seen. Really good steps for people of an older disposition. Only a moderate rise and plenty of room for one's feet. It would never be a deck on which anyone would spend time socialising. The entry door is easily accessed by these steps and that's what matters.
