Day 495 It's Flower Friday!

Today's offering for Flower Friday is gladioli, or rather one single flower: the bunch that I bought yesterday are still mostly tightly in bud (and likely to remain that way on a grey showery day) with just the one brave flower opening.
This afternoon daughter #2 visited, chauffeured over by daughter #1, and was kind enough to revarnish my toe nails and straighten my hair.  I can now manage to wash my own hair at home again, but reaching my toes is still not doable.
Of course a visit from daughter #2 meant a visit from the two 'flower fairies', who feature as my alternative flowers in extras.
