Blue Murder

Another round trip to Shropshire to return the gazebos and help with the final round up of bits from the show yesterday.    Also a happy continuation of the blip meet with Sparky who came over in response to my request for help .... and a promise of cake!    The cake was a bit of a cheat on my part, being provided by C & I, unfinished business!    Nice chat and a slow walk round the garden after we'd done with tent poles and the like.   Maybe another blip meet at Shrewsbury Folk Festival at the end of the month.   Tonight's album on the drive home was Blue Murder, a folk 'supergroup' all the tracks are great, here's the closing number.

Codonopsis are frail climbers and in my experience prone to slug damage so Celia's wigwam was impressive.   Growing from a tuber the flowers are surprisingly large coming as they do from thin, twining stems.   The bees clearly love them.

I got home to find that Jamie and Clara have finished the gingerbread village they started the other day.   There would have been six houses but some pieces were left on the low level worktop for a few minutes .... which was all it took Meg to find them!
