Bee friendly

Our parish capital village's entrance road sown a few years ago with wild flowers and which only gets mown once a year. Apart from attracting loads of flying insects, it also saves us money too.

The house on the far right of the left photo has set up a bird and insect drinking station. Important for bees that they can crawl down the gravel to reach the water. They are hopeless swimmers & invariably drown if they land in water.
