MANGE TOUT RODNEY MANGE TOUT

The title for those that don't know is due to a TV programme called Only Fools and Horses and this was one of the main characters, Del Boy's sayings when he was trying to speak French - I can't see mange tout without thinking of that now and still giggle.

A busy day today just catching up on som housework stuff that badly needed doing.  Will finish off on Friday as I have a fairly busy week ahead.

We've been enjoying the fruits of hubby's labours a lot lately, especially with wonderful new potatoes, mange tout, courgettes, beetroot and others.  The mange tout is now getting a bit big but stll tender notsure for how long.  The new potatoes are so delicious, somehow they taste so much better from his allotment than what you can buy in the shops, don't know why, probably just psychological!!!

Hubby went' down to Kents Bank station this morning to do some tidying up of his plot, especially of the leaves of the tree over his section that are shedding them.  He thought it might be a bit messy after there were about 800 people doing various Bay Walks this weekend and the Port-a-Loos were still there.  He said thought that it was pretty good, a few things here and there but not a much as you might expect  - it  shows it can be done when people are careful. The Portaloos were taken away whilst he was there and he had a good chat with the driver, who was impressed with the station.  A passenger decided to blame Hubby for the ticket machine not working but he tried to eexplain that he was simply avolulnteer gardener/tidy-upper - they were OK after that.

Must dash as I have more things to do.  Thank you all so much for your lovely stars, hearts and comments.  All so much appfeciated.  Do take care and stay safe.
