Project 365 day 214: derelict selfie

This is probably a fairly accurate reflection of my semi-derelict appearance, as well as that of parts of my garden. The reflection is in one of several old windows, removed during building work several years ago and propped beside the shed with a view to making a cold frame. We haven't got round to it yet, but we still hope to, when we have time...
I didn't go outside with the camera till around 7pm, by which time the light was poor and it was drizzling, so inspiration was limited.

The extra is the ajo blanco P made for lunch. It's a Spanish iced soup, new to us this year - it's the second time he has made it. It's made with almonds, cucumber and lots of garlic, as the name indicates, and is very tasty and creamy. It's a nice alternative to gazpacho, particularly just now as our tomato harvest is not keeping pace with the bountiful supply of cucumbers. Today he garnished it with red grapes, which worked well.
We had strawberries from the garden for dessert too, and harvested courgettes and chard to use in the evening meal.
