Living History at rest

It has poured with rain all day.  Whittington Castle have a Living History weekend called Warfare through the ages with displays, talks and battles from medieval knights to Victorian times.

I wasn't planning on going anyway, but the numbers of visitors must have  been greatly reduced with such wet weather.  I hope that it will be better for them tomorrow.

I've been doing some baking today but needed a blip so walked over to the castle when the event had finished for the day.  They camp at the castle so this is a shot of them in one of the camps.  I assume that the horses belong to the knightsand having a bit of down time too.
