Gardening?

Does this count?

A sometimes wet and sometimes windy day but I did find a dry slot to pot on some more cyclamen seedlings and some older plants.   These are Cyclamen purpurascens, a hardy species that flowers in the summer.   Two pots of seedlings did produce one flower each this year, despite being as yet very small.   Owing to the rather unsettled times I have been through, these were not dealt with soon enough and presented a problem in disentangling the roots with minimum damage to them.   The best way is to wash the soil off, which works much better if a soil based compost has been used.   (Soil-less composts are usually fibrous and much harder to dislodge.)   I'm hopeful that these, now planted separately, will grow on well.

Otherwise, laundry, two extra loads after Bella wee-ed on the sofa :-/ and work filled my time after the usual necessities of life.   Jamie made a tasty pizza for lunch, shared with Katie who stayed for an afternoon of Marvel films.
