Pure joy

Thes evenings concert in Mariannes garden was a folk-music band called "Kolonien", the colony. The members have grown up together, two brothers, one cousin and a neighbour, and they have played together for years.
I helped rigging and mixing their sound needs and we were all very happy about the concert. The band has only recently started to get bookings after corona and they said it still feels like being calves on the first day of spring.
It's great fun and very rewarding but it's also hard work, a lot to carry around and a big responsibility. 
The workday also gets very long, ten hours today, and I can tell I'm on the other side of thirty. It's worth it in many ways though.
