Up Close and Personal

Sammy has been hanging out eating peanuts since the end of the AOG (Alternative Olympic Games).  He was in training for so long and peanuts, being high in fat, were not on his diet.  His teammates and friends have tried to get him to slow down but PD has an endless supply of peanuts and keeps feeding him.  We may need an intervention!!

Since Sammy was perched so nicely in his tree, I thought he would be a good model for the animal theme of Tiny Tuesday today.  Many thanks to H0tamer for hosting the challenge this month!

I am grateful that we'll be going to the mountains again on Sunday and Becky and Darrin will be joining us.  It will be 20 degrees cooler according to the forecast and maybe not so smoky at that altitude.  My thoughts and prayers are with the people who have been affected by the devastating fires.
