Wide Wednesday: Blue

It was very hot and humid today, reaching a high of 93F, so the only place to be was either at home in the air conditioning, or at the pool, which worked out well for Wide Wednesday, with the theme of Blue, especially as the pool is located in the neighbourhood of Blue Ash! As you can see, it is a large pool, with an area for diving, open swim areas and 4 lap lanes. We spent a bit of time after our lap swim, sitting and reading, but it was too hot to stay out long, without going back in the water to cool off!
I made us a Salad Nicoise for dinner, which we enjoyed outside - by this time ( about 7.20) it was somewhat comfortable, with the patio being in the shade by that time, and the sun being so low in the sky. We have another hot and steamy one tomorrow, then it cools down a bit for the weekend.
