Sociable Sunday

A relaxing day today. An hour with the KL family agreeing that Amelia is a definite contender for the Malaysian break dancing team at Paris 2022. They are all still confined and inevitably 'my' room is now a home office.

Then over the road for the Coffee Club and 2 hours of indoor chat.

Followed by a trip to Marchmont to feed Alfie and not buy tyres, too few staff. The sun had come out so it was a very pleasant walk across the Meadows to meet Lady Findhorn in Soderberg. The area was busy but not mobbed. We talked, a lot.

It was cooler for the return brisk walk to my parking place outside Rebus's flat. Don't think he was in.

Went in past Sainsbury's for eggs and ended up with food for next weekend's lunch. My freezer is now full. I need to stop buying food.

I sent off the amended Choir risk info and got totally frustrated by yet another document. We will NOT be having 2.5m distancing. Apart from anything else we'd need a space the size of the Usher Hall to rehearse in.

Then it was more Harlan Coben and the next episode of Baptiste. The deliberate avoidance of lunch meant complete over indulgence later. Must do better!

The square at the Quartermile is a Malaysian enclave but Nasi Lemak at £14 is not enticing.
