Mono Monday: Thistledown

I'm never very sure about  low/high key but I'm giving it a go today for Mono Monday. Thanks to Carolina. I like the bit of thistledown caught in the salvia in the bee bed. What a success that's been. This was on my early walk this morning. Since then I've been on childcare duty with my little grandson. At the moment he's got the vet/doctor's kit and Flora is the patient.  She is pretty patient.

I've got the baking bug again so I'm going to make banana bread. Maybe the wee lad will help me. The sun is shining and it is warm. I'm enjoying that.

Afghanistan. What a mess. All those deaths in the past 20 and more years. Many  to come I fear.
